The platform replaces the need to hire an office manager, dispatcher, or operations coordinator, freeing the owner to focus on growth and client relationships.

## Common questions

**Who is CleanSlate AI for?** Owner-operators of U.S. commercial cleaning, janitorial, office cleaning, post-construction cleaning, or building service contractor businesses with between 5 and 50 cleaning staff.

**Does the crew need to download an app?** No. All crew communication is by SMS in the crew member's preferred language. The crew never logs in to anything.

**What does Ace, the AI General Manager, actually do?** Schedules recurring and one-off cleanings, sends shift confirmation texts, follows up on no-confirmations, finds replacement crew when someone calls out, qualifies inbound leads from the website or phone, generates and sends proposals and invoices, collects payment via Stripe Connect, sends client follow-ups, and gives the owner a daily SMS digest of everything that happened.

**How is this different from Jobber, Housecall Pro, ZenMaid, Swept, or Janitorial Manager?** Those tools are databases the owner has to operate. CleanSlate AI is an autonomous employee — Ace makes decisions, sends messages, handles edge cases, and only escalates to the owner when human judgment is required.

**How is this different from ChatGPT or a generic AI assistant?** Generic AI is a chat interface that requires the owner to prompt it. CleanSlate AI runs on its own, 24/7, against the owner's actual business data, integrated with SMS, payments, contracts, and the schedule.
